Founded in 1985, Advance Machinery, Inc began as a regional supplier serving the metal fabrication industry throughout Alabama and Georgia. What started as a local operation quickly expanded beyond expectations, establishing a reputation for quality machinery, dependable service, and long-term customer relationships. In 1989, the company launched Advance Cutting Systems (ACS), significantly expanding its reach and capabilities. Today, ACS equipment is installed in all 50 states, throughout Canada, and internationally, including installations as far away as China. In 1997, ACS further expanded its product offerings by introducing the AutoShear and AutoFold Coil Line systems to the U.S. market. The AutoFold revolutionized coil line production with its compact footprint, high production capacity, and affordability. Since its introduction, the system has undergone multiple advancements and is now available in configurations capable of producing SnapLock seams, Pittsburgh seams, and a full range of connector applications. As the company continued to grow, ACS expanded into additional fabrication technologies. In 2007, the Jet-Liner high-pressure waterjet system and the i-Liner rotary insulation cutting machine were introduced. This was followed by the addition of the Spiroformer spiral duct forming machine, allowing ACS to provide a complete machinery solution for HVAC contractors and fabricators.

In 2015 Advance Cutting Systems brought to Market the patented Fabri-Flange Dual TDF/TDC machine. Designed to work directly from an Autofold side eject system, the Fabri-Flange utilizes a unique dual hydraulic control system that takes a flat notched sheet with male and female locks and automatically folds it into a full wrap or “L” shaped duct section while simultaneously forming a roll-on flange. Today, ACS offers a full line of cutting and fabrication equipment, including our new line of EVOLUTION Series Fiber Lasers, Precision heavy-duty plasma tables, Plate Pro and Mastergraph rail systems, waterjet systems, and advanced fabrication solutions for a wide range of industries. Since 2018, ACS has expanded aggressively into fiber laser technology, importing and supporting its own line of fiber lasers ranging from 1.5kW to 40kW. Available configurations include shuttle table systems, moving cover designs, rail systems, and more — delivering high-performance cutting solutions for modern fabrication shops. Today, Advance Cutting Systems has over 100 fiber laser installations and more than 1,000 cutting systems operating across North America. Through continued innovation, customer support, and industry leadership, ACS remains committed to providing advanced solutions for the metal fabrication industry.
